Living legend Bernard "The Executioner" (nee "Alien") Hopkins, 51, didn't go out on his shield – he went tumbling out of the ring in a frightful manner courtesy of a steadfast and unforgiving Joe Smith Jr. It was an unusual (and, thankfully, not a physically debilitating) end to one of the greatest careers in professional sport – any sport.
