Citizen Con is Cloud Imperium Games' annual celebration of Star Citizen and the incredible community that is making the game's development possible. Citizen Con marks the original October 2012 announcement of the Star Citizen crowdfunding campaign, and the event has previously been held in Austin, Los Angeles and Manchester. This year, Citizen Con returns to Los Angeles for an action-packed day that will celebrate the latest and greatest work our developers are putting out!

This year, we're celebrating Star Citizen's birthday in Manchester, England, the home of the fabulous Foundry 42 studio. CitizenCon is our dedicated celebration of Star Citizen's past, present and future... expect to see what we've been working on in 2015 and to get the first look at what's next for the project!

Star Citizen will be sponsoring the Gaming Closing Party at SXSW this March in Austin. This event will be open to the public but Star Citizen backers will get early entrance and a chance to speak directly with some CIG employees. Austin and CIG have a longstanding relationship and SXSW is a way to strengthen that bond and to spread the word about Star Citizen and our amazing community.

We are proud to announce that we will be having another event during PAX East in Boston. Last year we showed the best step forward in Star Citizen at the time, Arena Commander. Catchphrases we created and the world was able to see how space combat in the 'Verse works. This year we will focused on the FPS module being developed by Illfonic.
