I hate derealization!! Worst part of anxiety for me. Most unsettling anyhow.
You just have to take the fear or dread out of those things and once they have less power they tend to fade. From my experience anyhow. Maybe you can read a bit about how these things work and having an understanding would take some of the fear/power away from them.

Allowed myself to live in squalor until I ended up homeless.
Then, by myself built a promising career with a bright future currently making a lot of money in 4 months. A promotion and raise within 3. Offers to join corporate already but instead I fully intend to walk away in about a year because idgaf anyway. Just wanted to experience both ends of the spectrum.
Either that, or the fact that I bought 3 pairs of shoes that are the same brand and style and size, but each different colors. Ill randomly wear mismatched shoes so one day I'm wearing 2 blue shoes, but the next my left one is green and my right shoe orange. I did this just to piss everyone around me off and then when they grew desensitized to the shoes I grew a mustache just to rub my disdain for conventions in their face. Then shaved it off after 2 days because I also didn't care.
