July 4th-San FranciscoForget what I said earlier about last night's fireworks shoot being a bust.It must have felt that way to me last night because I had expectations and, instead we had fog. Even though, as I explained to Mai on the way there, how the fog could make crazy cool light mixed in with the pyrotechnics.
Just awhile ago, this evening, I finally took the photos off the camera and did some basic tweaking in Lightroom. Some of them are pretty cool. So last night' shoot wasn't a bust afterall!
What I notice is the different and strange quality of the light trails. It's because if the latest long-exposure, in-camera, technology called "*Live Comp* that I was using on fireworks for the first time. Live Comp is in some of the latest Olympus cameras. It's a fun and very easy way to take long exposures without building up too much exposure on those inevitable hot spots.
