Hi Joseph, I think you’re overlooking the power dynamics in all of this. You’re trying to create some kind of equivalence in behaviour or perhaps say the Palestinians are worse so we should all focus on them. It really doesn’t work for me.

I don’t agree with death penalties under any circumstances. However, allowing Jews to buy even more land from Palestinians would be a pretty crazy thing to allow considering how much land has already been lost.

In 1947, as you know, the Palestinians were being asked to give up more than half the land despite owning most of it and being well over half the population. Why would they have seen that as generous?

Leaving aside for a moment why the football initiative is needed in the first place, how would @NorthWestFOI describe Area C of the oPt? Apartheid is the only word I can think of that recognises international law on the subject. And do 50 yr Occupations sit well with democracies?

I'm Jewish. I've used @Airbnb in many countries, including stays with Jewish hosts. I am entirely supportive of their decision not to advertise stays in illegal Jews-only settlements in occupied #Palestine. It's not racist or anti-Semitic.
