    This is our second pair of PLAE Ty shoes. We we sizing up from the 7.5 toddler Ty to the 8 and there was almost no difference in size - we exchanged for a pair of 8.5 and it seems about a half size up from the 7.5. So sizing seems off slightly in my opinion. The colors are true to photos. The blues are rich and the orange is bright. The Ty PLAE 7.5 comes with one strap but the 8 and 8.5 (and presumably larger sizes) have two straps. The straps can be changed out for wider widths, my child has narrower feet so the standard straps work great.

    These work great for casual and church, very versatile in the style department. These definitely fit the requirements for shoes that are good for proper health and growth. The sole is flexible, soft, and not chunky. I was very pleased with the sole of this shoe as was my toddler. Great quality, Stride has become my go to brand for my son's shoes. Thank you stride rite for the free pair of soft motion shoes in return for my honest review. I only wish they made soft motion in larger sizes.

    My daughter loves these shoes. She has to wear them as part of her uniforms. We bought these and the A/O and she prefers these hands down. They are easier to put on than the A/O and they seem more supportive. She's been wearing these almost every day since late August and they still seem to have a lot of wear left.
