Nobel Prize for Literature


The Nobel Prize in Literature 2015 was awarded to Svetlana Alexievich "for her polyphonic writings, a monument to suffering and courage in our time." Her works include, Voices from Chernobyl, War's Unwomanly Face, and Second-Hand Time.

PEN/Faulkner Award

Honoring the best work of fiction published by an American in a single calendar year, the PEN/Faulkner Award for 2015 was presented to Atticus Lish for his novel, Preparation for the Next Life.
