“The owl,” he was saying, “is one of the most curious creatures. A bird that stays awake when the rest of the world sleeps. They can see in the dark. I find that so interesting, to be mired in reality when the rest of the world is dreaming. What does he see and what does he know that the rest of the world is missing?”

“Is there a secret? Yes. Anaïs Nin and Pauline Réage and Anne Rampling and Erica Jong all knew it. E. L. James knows it.
It is the secret behind all of our writing. And our reading. Arousal starts in the mind. And grows in the mind. The brain is the most erogenous zone in a woman’s body. That is our secret. And it is what we share.”

Thanks for becoming my new friend! Laurie King is one of my favorite authors too.---Veronica Dale: Blood Seed and Night Cruiser: Short Stories about Creepy, Amusing or Spiritual Encounters with the Shadow.
Hi M.J., Thanks for the friendship. It's nice to meet you. How are you doing? Well, I hope. I am a 42 year old southern dark fantasy author from Mississippi that lives in Tennessee because of Hurricane Katrina. I write about werewolves, vampires, demons, angels, and witches. Come by for a spell, read a sneak of Moonwarriors: In A Blackened Dawn? I appreciate you and your opinion. Please like my page, thanks. https://www.facebook.com/AuthorRustyN...

How's the writing going with you?

M.J., Thanks for accepting my friendvite! Looking forward to cracking open "The Book of Lost Fragrances." I have three new books I plan to read and yours is one of them.
Hi M.J.,I just wanted to say that I just finished the first of your books I've ever read, the first of many I will read - The Delilah Complex. I adored this book. Your characters are so well drawn & easy to identify with because they are flawed just like the rest of us. And some of your prose is just so beautiful - lyrical & deep. There are quite a few highlights in my Kindle copy, simply because they were beautifully written & rang true for me. So you've gained yourself another fan! Thanks for bringing us this fantastic series.
All the best, Kellie.
Thanks for the friend request! Looking forward to sharing more books with you.Melissa
