Welcome to Disney, the sequel machine.

Hopefully no one’s waiting for it!

Don’t like "Provisional Reviews" or "Updates"? You’re going to get a heck of a lot more with Bethesda’s one-day policy.

Yup, could have been worded better.

Basically saying people here are defending shitty business practices and corporatism. And how defending that is self-defeating.

I’m starting to wonder if you username is a self-projection.

No man sky developers may have said a few things that didnt turn out to be true in the end, but that does not mean no mans sky is a bad game all together.

False advertising hyped it up. The game wasn’t bad, but imagine for a second they sold you a space FPS instead. See the bigger picture?

Medium over quality?

The thing he didn’t miss was how developers are destroying reviewer’s credibility in order to gain more through what they advertise.

That being said, forget Konami, f@#& Bethesda!

I can’t think of many games where quality was a true issue. Everyone just expects flawlessness.

No, the industry is what’s hyping up games. The marketing comes from the developers’ team and advertising gets distributed to whatever platforms are the most favorable, like here in Polygon or Gamespot.

The sheer idiocy pro-developer stances that some gamers possess makes them difficult to convince that patience is key. In fact, during crises gamers tend to side with the industry.

I still don’t see why this should even be a debate. How are people arguing here in the comments why anyone would want to buy a game that’s never even "finished", inspired by corporate marketing, from their own video updates on Youtube and not from a credible source, and from an industry known to bullshit bullshot? How do you make an argument in favor of corporatism?

Then again, it’s the free market exploiting the gullible mind of the teenage gamer.

It’s not so much them trying to "satisfy the PC audience" (like you say) as preventing a radical reordering of their canon. People are always going to complain whether someone’s comic book art is too radical or reactionary but because these comic book holders don’t want to give up their corporatism they’re just going to slap political characters in there.

Your comment contradicts that of someone saying there is no difference questioning someone’s birth (racist) if he’s running for president or not.

Maybe just your phrasing was wrong.
