About Us
Stitch Fix is the personal style service for men and women that evolves with your tastes, needs and lifestyle.
What We Stand For
Our goal is to make shopping easy and enjoyable. We believe that pairing technology with the human element of personal styling achieves just that—the most personalized, effortlessly gratifying shopping experience. At Stitch Fix, we’re here to help you save time, look great and evolve your personal style over time.
How We Got Here
Founded by Katrina Lake, Stitch Fix is the first fashion retailer to blend the human element of personal styling with proprietary algorithms and high-quality product. While attending Harvard Business School, Katrina began exploring how a new retail concept could help busy women explore their personal style and make it easy to find figure-flattering clothing. In 2011, she shipped the very first Stitch Fix packages out of her apartment on 41 Hawthorn Street in Cambridge, MA. In fall of 2016, Stitch Fix Men was launched to bring fit expertise, exclusive brands and the signature Stitch Fix shopping experience to male clients nationwide.
Our Stylists
Stitch Fix personal stylists are passionate about style. They’re trendsetters, fashion experts and problem solvers. But, more importantly, they thrive on hearing from and about you. Our Stylists are motivated most by learning about your style and your evolving needs so they can select the best pieces possible. It’s this trust and feedback loop that’s at the heart of the Stitch Fix experience.
