Leave your phone at home
We all love our phones. But when you’re out for a run, strapping a big phone to your arm isn’t much fun. We built Core for a better running experience, to give you the benefits of your phone with none of the inconvenience.
Core is a lightweight, cellular-connected clip that replaces your phone entirely. It streams music from Spotify, tracks your pace, distance, and location with GPS, and can send an emergency SOS if needed.

We're proud to have Pebble fans in over 150 countries. We will ship Pebble 2, Time 2 and Core worldwide, with the exception of Argentina, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Myanmar/Burma, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, and Yemen. Please note that you will be responsible for duties, fees and taxes applicable to your region, which in the past have ranged from 0% to 20% in the US and EU countries, to as much as 200% for certain South American countries.
Estimated Delivery
Each reward tier may have a different estimated shipment month. While we do not expect these to change, it is possible that the estimated shipment month may shift. We will provide updates when/if the estimated shipment date changes. At anytime up until your watch has shipped, you may request a full refund by emailing [email protected].

Notifications: Pebble smartwatches must be connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone with a live internet connection in order to receive notifications and perform other functions.
Heart rate monitor: Pebble devices with a heart rate (HR) monitor are intended to be a valuable tool that can provide an accurate estimation of the user’s heart rate. The HR monitor is designed to attempt to monitor a user’s heart rate on a periodic basis. The frequency at which heart rate is measured varies and depends on the level and activity of the user. Pebble smartwatches are not medical devices and you should not rely on the accuracy of heart rate data for any purpose, especially for medical or health purposes.
Battery life: Actual battery life will vary based in part on cellular network provider, your location and other factors.
Core battery life: Pebble Core is being designed to support up to 9 hours of location tracking and offline music. Your actual battery life may vary depending on many items including the final design of Pebble Core, your cellular carrier and connection and type of music streaming.
3G Connection: Streaming over 3G, sending emergency SOS messages over 3G, and all other 3G-related capabilities require an active 3G connection. A 3G connection requires a data-enabled SIM card (not included with Pebble Core) from a supported cellular carrier. Additional fees may be charged by your cellular carrier for the required 3G data service. Pebble Core is not compatible with all cellular carrier networks - check with your cellular carrier to see if Pebble Core will work on your preferred cellular network.
3rd party applications: For 3rd party applications that are not native to, or included with, Pebble’s operating software such as Uber and Spotify, you must have an account set up with these services to be able to use them with your Pebble device. Yes! Here’s how:
1) Start by pledging for an official reward tier that best fits the mix of Pebbles you want.

Yes!
While Pebble Core is a fully-hackable, Pebble-sized computer that runs a version of the Android operating system, it plays nice with BOTH iPhone and Android smartphones.
Setup and management of Pebble Core is performed while paired via Bluetooth to an iOS or Android device running the latest Pebble smartphone app. After setup, Core’s out-of-the-box features (e.g. run tracking, music streaming, GPS, Voice, Emergency SOS, etc.) are designed to work independently from the smartphone you used to set it up.

In addition to Pebble 2 and Time 2, Time-Series watches (Time, Time Steel, and Time Round) can pair with Pebble Core to enhance its abilities. Classic watches (Pebble, Pebble Steel) will not be compatible with Pebble Core.

Pebble Core can pair with compatible Pebble smartwatches, extending Core’s abilities and adding a new layer of control. Core will be able to save pairings with multiple Pebble watches, and it will be easy to manage which watch you currently want to be paired to.

For 3G connectivity, you’ll want to get a SIM card for your Pebble Core and add it to your data plan, just like you would for a tablet with cellular connectivity.

Full details about cellular frequency bands supported by Pebble Core will be available at a later date. For now, 1900 (covering North and Latin America) and 2100 (covering Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania) bands will definitely be supported.

Wi-Fi hotspot and data tethering is not a stock feature planned for Pebble Core. As a 100% hackable building block for new experiences and uses, Pebble Core does have the hardware necessary for a developer to bring this use case to life.

Like Pebble Time Steel, Time 2's chassis is made of marine-grade stainless steel. Time 2's color e-paper display is 53% larger and features a higher-resolution than Pebble Time Steel, showing more information than ever. Support for smartstrap makers continues on in Pebble 2 and Time 2. Hardware hackers interested in building for Pebble smartstraps can find regularly-updated resources, requirements, and guides on our Developer Website. Pebble is not planning on releasing smartstraps ourselves—the plan has always been to support the community of makers who do.

Amazon Alexa's Voice Services API currently requires some sort of audio output for its replies. If that ever changes, we would gladly integrate Alexa into our watch lineup, using a visual/notification response for the platform's replies.

Amazon Alexa acts as a third party app on Pebble Core. Enjoying Alexa’s voice services on Pebble Core requires installing and setting up Alexa on both the Pebble smartphone app and Amazon's Alexa app, then authenticating with your Amazon account.
The integration only works with Pebble Core after installing Amazon Alexa and performing the initial setup. For those curious about "removing Amazon Alexa," there is nothing to remove. Like any third-party app, you must install Alexa onto your Core to enjoy its voice services. Amazon Alexa is simply an added layer of features that is leveraging the existing voice capabilities and firmware-level infrastructure we're building into Core.

Time-Series watches (Time, Time Steel, and Time Round) will be compatible with the upcoming 4.0 Pebble operating system. Classic watches (Pebble, Pebble Steel) will not be compatible with the new software.

The prices for our older models were lowered in late 2015. There are no plans to make any new changes to the regular pricing of those past models.
