Aaron Bell
CEO, Founder
Aaron Bell is CEO and founder of AdRoll, the most widely-adopted retargeting platform with over 20,000 active customers. Prior to AdRoll, Aaron was Lead Engineer at SHAI, an artificial intelligence company in San Mateo, Calif. There, he oversaw projects for the NASA manned spaceflight program, including the official planning software used to set the launch date for the space shuttle.
From an early age, Aaron has been passionate about coding. He began as a software engineer at age 16 at Microsoft, in the nascent Exchange Server group. Aaron graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in computer science, and was also the only undergraduate advisee under the legendary AI pioneer and Emeritus Professor John McCarthy.
Adam Berke
President and CMO, Founding Team
As AdRoll CMO, Adam oversees all aspects of marketing at AdRoll, including performance advertising, product marketing, and developing AdRoll’s brand. Adam is an advertising industry expert with a true passion for performance marketing. He is a published author and frequent speaker at SES, SMX, OMMA and SXSW, a guest author for ClickZ, AdExchanger, and MediaPost, and the author of The Retargeting Playbook (Wiley, 2014.)
Prior to AdRoll, Adam helped launch the CPL network at Aptimus, an ad network acquired by the Apollo Group. In his four years there, he took a leadership role in almost every department: Business Development, Ad Ops, and Product Management.
Outside of work, Adam is an avid surfer, kiteboarder, snowboarder, and barefoot runner. Adam received his BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
Peter Krivkovich
CFO/COO, Founding Team
Peter is focused on building the organization and processes that have helped AdRoll become the fastest growing display platform. Prior to joining AdRoll, he spent six years in leadership roles spanning finance, business development, product management and sales. Peter worked in investment banking, was a product manager at Everdream Corp. (acquired by Dell) and got an MBA from Harvard before going to work at Good Technology (acquired by Motorola). There, he worked for the President helping oversee sales and then for the CFO where he built and managed the company's financial model. When he is not spending time with his wife and two daughters, he enjoys reliving his college tennis days on the foggy courts of San Francisco.
Valentino Volonghi
CTO, Founding Team
Valentino currently designs and implements AdRoll globally distributed architecture. He is the President and Founder of the Italian Python Association that runs PyCon Italy. Since 2000, Valentino has specialized in distributed systems and actively worked with several Open Source projects with which he continues to be an active contributor. He graduated from the Milan Polytechnic University with a MS in eBusiness and IT Management. In his free time, he shows off his biking skills on his Cervelo S2 on 50+ mile rides around the Bay.
Suresh Khanna
CRO
Suresh oversees all sales operations at AdRoll. With over 15 years of experience, he was in a variety of tech industry roles before joining AdRoll. Previously, he was at Google for over five years, most recently as Director of New Advertiser Sales. In earlier roles, he led the business development efforts for Google’s local advertising channel team, and built scalable sales programs for agencies. Outside of work, Suresh is co-owner of Kasa Indian Eatery in San Francisco. He has two children and is a passionate Little League baseball coach. Suresh holds a dual BA in Economics and Public Policy from Stanford University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
Stacey Manes
VP, Human Resources and Recruiting
Stacey is a global human resources executive with a passion for driving employee engagement, leadership coaching, talent acquisition and organization development. Prior to joining AdRoll, she held the top HR position for OpenTable. Stacey helped prepare the company for their successful IPO and was key to growing the organization from a few US employees to several hundred globally. She is a bay area native and a graduate of the University of California at Davis.
Greg Fulton
VP, Product
Greg joined AdRoll in 2008 and has been leading the Product organization since 2010. As VP of Product, he is responsible for the company’s the long term strategic vision, and oversees the Product Management , User Experience, and Business Development teams. He is the co-author of The Retargeting Playbook and has written industry articles for publications like Wired.com.
When not talking to customers or speed walking from meeting to meeting, Greg spends his time being mediocre at surfing, skiing, and mountain biking. Also his dog is one of AdRoll’s spirit animals. So he’s got that going, which is nice.
Makoto Arima
VP of AdRoll Global, Japan
Makoto Arima (known as ‘Mak’) is the VP of AdRoll Global, Japan and is responsible for building the Japan team and expanding the business.
Mak, an early pioneer of internet advertising in Japan, has been a frequent speaker regarding the revolution in IT and is author of 「ギャップはチャンスだ」("Gap is the Opportunity") and 「転職メソッド」 (“Method for a Job- change”).
In 1996 Mak became the first employee at Yahoo! Japan, where he played pivotal role in transforming Yahoo! Japan from a startup into Japan’s biggest internet company. He also was country managing director at Google Japan for four years and currently serves as founder and CEO of MAK Corporation.
Outside of work Mak is an avid golfer and golf fan who is excited to have received a guest invitation to the 2015 Masters Tournament. He also is very passionate about music and has his own drum studio at home. Mak received his BA in Petrochemical Engineering from Kyoto University.
Patrick Mee
VP, Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering, Patrick steers development and delivery of the products that make AdRoll great. He started as a full-stack engineer before full-stack engineering was cool, and quickly moved to management. Patrick discovered Agile software development and honed his passion for Agile methodologies. Since then, he has successfully converted many organizations into fast-moving shipping machines as Vice President of Engineering at Inadco and Ning, and as Director of Engineering at SourceForge and Ecast. Patrick graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology with a degree in Software Engineering. Outside of work, Patrick indulges his passion for soccer as both a player and a coach.
Stephanie King
General Counsel
Stephanie joined AdRoll as its General Counsel in August 2014 and oversees all legal affairs for the company. She is focused on finding pragmatic business solutions to complex and ever-changing legal issues. Prior to joining AdRoll Stephanie spent four years at Zynga Inc., a social gaming company, helping to build scalable processes and its legal team, which was named Most Innovative Legal Team by Inside Counsel Magazine in 2012. Most recently Stephanie was Associate General Counsel, Commercial where she was responsible for product compliance, commercial contracts, government affairs and support for Zynga.org. Prior to joining Zynga Stephanie was Senior Manager, Legal at Gilead Sciences, Inc., a biotechnology company, where she built and managed the commercial contracts team. She also spent over four years as an Associate in the corporate department of Latham & Watkins LLP, one of the nation's leading law firms, and two years as an analyst with Health Advances LLP, a strategy consulting firm focused on biotechnology, medical devices, and pharma.
When not wrangling legal issues, Stephanie enjoys adventures with her husband and children and running in local races.
Stephanie holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College in Government and a joint J.D./M.B.A. from Columbia Law School and Columbia Business School.

Sean Dempsey
Co-founder, Merus Capital
Sean co-founded Merus Capital in November 2007. Previously, he was a principal of corporate development at Google, responsible for acquisitions and investments. Prior to that, he spent over six years at Microsoft in the Corporate Development team, where he was a director. His areas of focus at Google and Microsoft included consumer web services, online and traditional advertising, online video, gaming and enterprise software-as-a-service. Before joining Microsoft, he spent two years in technology mergers & Acquisitions at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell in Menlo Park and was a research analyst at the Jennings Group in San Francisco
Charles Moldow
General Partner, Foundation Capital
Charles joined Foundation Capital in 2005, with a background in general management, sales, marketing, product management, and business development. Before coming to Foundation Capital, he was part of two teams that successfully built companies from early start-up through greater than $100 million in sales and exits near or above a billion dollars. Charles has made fourteen investments since joining Foundation, of which five have been acquired: PowerSet to Microsoft; Xoopit to Yahoo!; Adwhirl to Google; Weblistic to Spot Runner; and, Therative to Phillips. In addition to AdRoll, Charles' current portfolio includes: BancBox, CloudOn, Copious, Everyday Health, Fanhood, HomeRun, LendingClub, Luminate, Motif Investing, Revel Touch, and SunRun.
