I don’t subscribe to the theory that the White House is making up this story about future sanctions in an attempt at damage control. From Trump’s initial tweet, he referred to withdrawing “large scale sanctions.” Listing two small Chinese shipping firms is not large scale 1/

Honestly, this is a smart move if true. Trump’s personal instincts diverge from the Hanoi Hold-Up. He doesn’t care about NK disarmament, but he does care whether it tests missiles/nukes/SLVs.
