Sometimes I feel like African dictators coordinate their actions. You will notice that as soon as tension diffuses somewhere, another rises elsewhere. They rotate in arresting activists, repressing protests, killing citizens. It's as if they want to keep us busy.

In Avedji, another neighborhood of capital city there is an ongoing confrontation between the security forces and the community. The ban of the protests made people defy the government and they are protesting even at night.

4This shows how deep the rot has gotten in Togo! It is the Republic's obligation 2 respect, protect & fulfill the inhabitants human rights'. But now it is the very incarnation of that Republic: the Togo Armed Forces Chief of Staff who is shooting & killing citizens at will!

My country is burning. The more they shoot; the more they are radicalizing the youths. stop killing protesters and lift that ridiculous and illegal ban on protests for peace to return to . We will not let you destroy a country you did not build.
