Hubstaff uses a time tracking app that team members install and run on Mac OSX. Our Mac time tracker application was built to run natively on Mac OSX. Our timer app is lightweight, installs in seconds, and has the ability to run silently in the background.

We provide simple but effective time tracking tools for Windows, Mac and Linux. Our lightweight desktop timers record screenshots, enable internet & website tracking, and activity levels so you can remotely monitor employee computers.
The Mac time tracking widget records time, takes screenshots and tracks activity levels. It is a natively built widget for Mac. Remote team members can run this software with the timer (widget) exposed as shown, or they can hide the widget and stop and start timing directly from the menu. You can add notes, quickly select projects, and track time directly to that project.

This is where your remote employees can add notes in the Hubstaff time tracking app for Mac. When an employee adds a note here in the desktop application, it goes directly to the web application so a manager can login and view all notes.

This is the Hubstaff for Mac menu. You can operate Hubstaff directly from this menu if you prefer Hubstaff to run in the background. You can stop and start time, change projects, add notes, sign in and out, check for updates and link directly to the web portal.

Hubstaff runs as an application on the desktop making it easy to track time. Once the time is tracked you can invoice clients, pay employees, see in-depth reporting and much more.
Over 8,000 remote teams use Hubstaff daily.
