Change your payment currency
Airbnb shows your default currency, which can be easily changed if needed for scheduled future payments or when booking a reservation.
Note: We only show the currencies in which we can process payments.
Change your default currency
You can change the default currency you’ve already set with the same steps.
Change your default currency on desktop
- Next to your profile photo, click the globe
- Click Currency
- Select your desired currency

- Under Settings, tap Payments and Payouts
- Above Payments & payouts, tap your default currency
- Select your desired currency

Change the currency for upcoming payments
If you have an upcoming reservation with payments scheduled for future dates, you can change the currency for the scheduled future payments.
Change the currency for upcoming payments on desktop
- Click Trips and select the reservation
- Under Reservation details, click Get receipts and manage payments
- Under Upcoming, click the payment you want to change
- Click the currency next to your total to change your selection
- Click Confirm and pay

Change the currency when paying for a reservation
You can also change your currency when booking a reservation. Under Price details, click or tap the currency next to your total to change your selection.
Note: If there are restrictions on the currency at the time of payment, you may need to update your currency. Learn more about supported currencies.
Currency can’t be changed for completed payments
If a payment has already been made, the currency can’t be changed for that payment.
