    I believe a nurse should be as highly educated as they can, and should be encouraged to push themselves. Nursing is a science.

    And here we go... Chest compression and breaths. 30 good compressions, 2 per second, 5 cm depth followed by 2 breaths... And repeat!

    Its ABCDE assessment time! ... I wonder if the mannequin will deteriorate in at a cardiac arrest..? In a BLS class..? I think it will!

    If you've thought about phoning a senior then do. That's why we are there. And make sure you eat often - a hungry doctor is not good.

    1) If you don't know, ask. 2) The nurses will support you - be good to your professional colleagues! 3) every shift does eventually end

    Personally... I believe nurses are scientists. They need to be proficient in anatomy, physiology, psychology, sociology, chemistry etc.

    Eat, drink and pee regularly. Don't drive tired. Ask lots of questions, read one new thing a day and enjoy yourself

    There is always a debate about nurse training and the level we should be trained at. What do you think? Are nurses scientists or vocational?

    Listen to the patient esp if we have conditions you're not familiar with. We prefer questions rather than guesswork😊
