Yeah, I think not in the sense that Metzen necessarily had a giant ego or anything, but he’d been around so long and was such an integral part of the company that I’m sure many less senior employees would have had trouble calling out something they didn’t like in his work or editing his stuff significantly or suggesting a different direction. Curious to see where the company goes now without that sense of an all-powerful voice of the direction of the stories.
The idea of an MMO set in that world is so so cool. Riot pls
