Thank you! I'm definitely not the best with design. Do you have any suggestions or opinions on the aesthetics? I'm working on getting some still frames from the DVD to replace the b&w images.

Well, your website is very barebones and simplistic. I generally like that in a basic website. I'm not quite sure what your website is going to be used for, but, if you're just providing information I'd stay as simple and clean as possible. Too often, I see people building complex designs for very simple websites. Which, if you are just building to practice and improve yourself, I completely advocate. However, if you're building your website to provide a service or information, it should only be as complex as the goal requires. In your case, It appears you are just providing information. Therefor, in my opinion, it should be a simple and clean design that efficiently serves the information to the end-user. You have essentially done that. The only thing, at this point, I would point out is that you are using a bit too much green. I'd find a good color that matches green and try to blend it in. For me, when I look at your site, the green is just a bit too much.
