We booked a room for the weekend (Thursday-Saturday) via booking.
The hotel is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Ein-carem.
The hotel has 9 rooms in a main compound and another 3 rooms across the street. The room we've got wasn't in the main building and had a 'view' of the street and not a "beautiful view for the mountains'.
The room we've got was not clean and the floor was dusty, as well as the dresser. It was clear that nobody cleaned under the bed for a few days.
On the second day they didn't even bother to come and clean the room and we had to call the reception and ask for them to come. The call was made through our mobile, because even the phone didn't work.
When we checked out, we told everything to the receptionist that smiled and said she will let the manager know.
Well.... They didn't even called us after the stay.
When you pay so much money for a hotel, you expect everything to be perfect.
Well, as you understand, it was far from that.
Allegra has the potential of being a wonderful hotel. Unfortunately the lack of attention to details and the fact that they didn't treated us like in a real 5 stars hotel makes it an average hotel at best.
I recommend to anyone who is interested in a hotel in Jerusalem to come up with other alternatives.

כל השאר - חמישה כוכבים.

Very nice boutique hotel with great food (if you choose to join the private chef dinner).
On the other hand, since it resides in a very old structure, rooms can be dark or positioned straight on the kitchen.
