Share YOUR Google + Tips!
Hey Everyone! I want to compile a list of Google + tips that I can Tweet out from +Circloscope's Twitter account (and my own) and I would love to have some of you participate!!! (This doesn't have to be a Circloscope tip.)

If you would like to submit a tip, post it in the comments below along with your Twitter handle. Please remember to keep it short - there is a total of 140 character limit and I also want to include your Twitter handle when I tweet it - your tip should also include the hashtag #GooglePlus so people know what we are even talking about :) - if you include a link, save about 30 characters for it (I will shorten it).

Here's an example:

"Google’s policy on promotions is remarkably different from Facebook’s, where contests are permitted given that they adhere to a set of published Guidelines. One of the requirements for Facebook contests is that they must be administered within Apps on Facebook.com. But on Google+, it appears that Google wants no involvement with any of the legalities or liabilities of hosting contests whatsoever."

Entire books will soon be written about how Google+ Hangouts (and the social network that underlies them) will transform communication within families, among friends, and in the business world. I'm sure we'll see hundreds of uses of Hangouts profiled in blogs and articles in the coming weeks. And I especially can't wait for a Hangouts API that will lead to a proliferation of specific applications that will make each of the use cases even more achieveable.

What do the colors of your logo say about your company?  This is a great overview and good for designers, advertisers and consumers alike to understand.  Perception is reality and these are very real!

Is social media a tool of war?

With active accounts on Pinterest, Twitter and Tumblr the Israeli army is advancing through cyberspace to make their case heard.

As Israel continues air strikes in Gaza, its army is also increasingly moving to war tactics online. The Israeli army announced its military operation not through a news conference, but on Twitter. 

Both the Israeli army and Hamas are posting updates on their attacks in real time. Israelis and Palestinians used dueling hashtags as they battled for control of the narrative on social media. 

Twitter also became a vital outlet for Gazans to spread information even after the power was cut off. The hacker collective Anonymous is reportedly fighting to keep Gaza online after fears spread that the Internet might be cut.
