Trusted behavioral health care in your community

Mental health and addictive disorders are among the most common illnesses in any community, and they can have a severe impact on functioning and quality of life. At Zucker Hillside Hospital, we understand that those in need of behavioral health care represent every group—they’re our family members, friends, colleagues and neighbors. That’s why it’s crucial to seek treatment—for yourself or someone you love. It’s the kind of care that changes lives.

Inpatient services include adolescent, adult, geriatric, and women’s (perinatal psychiatry) units. Treatment specialties include early phase treatment, depression, schizophrenia, peripartum mood and anxiety disorders, bipolar and personality disorders, psychotic disorders, medical/neurological illnesses with psychiatric symptoms, and Alzheimer's disease or related conditions.

Patients benefit from the care of a highly experienced, multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, mental health workers, psychologists, social workers, activities specialists/recovery counselors, peer counselors and patient engagement specialists, along with a hospitalist team for any medical needs.

At Zucker Hillside Hospital, our goal is to promote wellness and to reintegrate those in our care back into the community to work, attend school, socialize, be independent and live happy, productive lives.
