The third annual JuliaCon 2016 was held at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Labs. It was attended by 250 participants and included keynotes by Nobel Laureate Thomas Sargent, Scheme creator Guy Steele, and Julia hacker Prof. Tim Holy. The talks spanned a wide variety of topics including astronomy, physics, bioinformatics, economics, statistics, compilers, high performance computing and parallelism.
