Best pizza in Roma!!

We stopped by here for lunch before visiting the Vatican Museum. The service is amazing. We opted to sit outside because the inside is full and is really tiny. They turned on the heat lamp, sat us down and said they will bring over a mixed plate for the three of us.

I've been to the other pizza place - Bonci. This is absolutely 100% better. Everything tasted so fresh and beautiful. After having such an awful food experience in Rome, everything here tasted like heaven. We even ordered more pesto, mushroom, and bacon to fill out bellies!

I've tasted some awful pizza in my life, but to have a disgusting pizza in Rome is incredibly disappointing. This is the city of pasta and pizza for crying out load!  

We got to our hotel around the corner past 11pm from the airport. Tired and hungry, we went to the only place that was still open, purchases three pizzas to go.

When we got back and opened the box, our jaws were hanging open. What in the effing world.

The pizzas looked awful. They tasted below average. This restaurant wouldn't even use fresh mushrooms and way over salted everything. I definitely would not have gone here if we had any other hot food option. Just awful!!

I got pulled into this place by my long distance cousin and gf who are studying abroad in Rome. Let me make it clear that I have no knowledge of its existence, was not planning nor interested in going. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE coffee. But this place was truly a rip off. €7 for an espresso, who's ever heard of it?!? Yes I understand service is included, but umm...I'm paying 6 folds just to have someone who dresses nice to serve me coffee? So Bouge
