This restaurant is absolutely terrible, especially for you foodies out there.

Based on the waitress's suggestion my fiancé and I shared one of their traditional flatbread pizzas (homemade sausage). While browsing through the long list of adjective acquainted ingredients describing the pizza, we assumed it came with red sauce (an admitted mistake, sun dried tomatoes doesn't always mean red sauce), so the pizza was not 100% what we expected. But fortunately for us, we're open-minded and have enjoyed many pizzas with no sauce, ranch-based sauce, buffalo sauces, bbq, etc, etc.

The pizza even looked gorgeous. It almost didn't make sense. It was a mirage, like the bowls of fake fruit kinda.

The waitress must have thought we were simpletons because after we explained the pizza wasn't entirely what we expected she quickly made a suggestion to bring us a small bowl of red sauce, bringing it over shortly after. The sauce was thin, flavorless and didn't go with the pizza at all- it may have made it worse. I'm not sure if it was the finest sauce in the land it would have made much of a difference.

Bottom line #1: I came in expecting a hipster environment and fantastic, healthy food. I left craving nitrates.

Bottom line #2: We don't have simple, unimaginative palettes. Your food just sucks.

P.S. I've never seen a restaurant with a 4 star Yelp review that received so many positive reviews that neglected to mention food taste.

Wonderful vibe, tasty small plates and great cocktails. We stopped in after a flight in and were very happy with our experience. Servers were friendly, and it was a fun, laid back atmosphere. Definitely try the lobster slider =

We went here for the first time on a Saturday in July. It's pretty tight inside, but surprisingly less confining than other similarly designed (architecture-wise) Hanover St spots like Giacomo's. My fiancé got Mama's Sunday Pasta (with meatballs, short ribs, and sausages) which tasted about as delicious as it looked. Quite a heaping portion too. I ordered a penne dish with ahi tuna and a pesto sauce. My dish should have been great in theory, but there wasn't much synergy between the sesame crusted tuna and the hearty flavorful pesto sauce underneath. We had a great time regardless and would definitely come back.

While definitely visually appealing, the taste of the food was a letdown, especially considering what you pay. We ordered the Uni, chow fun, octopus and clam garlic bread. All were uninspiring (especially the chow fun) except for the clam bread.

Nice open space, though, and good service.

I'd prefer to continue to go to other small plate restaurants, such as Alden and Harlow over Little Donkey.
