As a host, YAX is not the editor of content that is published by the user, who is the owner and editor of his/her own exclusive YAX, unlike the practice of may other applications or website publishers. YAX is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal data that could be collected when using the service. All the information provided or collected through your use of the YAX application, or website http://www.yax.it site is strictly confidential. When you download the YAX application, no personal identifying information is requested you to access most of the services of the application. If you want to create a YAX simply create an anonymous username and no one will never know who you are. Your information will under no circumstances be sold or leased to third parties.

Data Collection

Furthermore, YAX automatically collects a minimum of data when you use the service. The collected data are related to:

• The equipment

  YAX collects information on the type of device you use to access the service, including the model, operating system and version, the unique identifier of the device, and information about the mobile network used. This data is not stored and serve only to improve your experience by offering an optimized service (image and screen sizes et cetera...).

• The location

  YAX may collect information about your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or mobile operator based on your IP (Internet Protocol) address or User ID (UID). If you authorize access to your location information, YAX uses your geolocation information in order to offer you content prioritizing the YAX posted by users nearby and along with the topics you prefer.

• Logs

  YAX records information about your use of the service, such as the type of browser you use, the time, IP address, the ID of the service used ... These data are not maintained permanently and are strictly necessary for the proper conduct of the service.

• Statistics

  YAX sends some anonymous data to Mediametrie — Estat (http://www.mediametrie-estat.com/). These anonymous data only relate exclusively to measuring audiences and main uses of the mobile application. These statistics are necessary for the improvement of our service, in order to give you the best possible experience of YAX.

Government solicitations

The YAX headquarters are located in France and the application relates solely to this country's legal system. Any application or request of a government (including the United States) regarding the transmission of data, will be carefully considered by our legal department and our lawyers. The only valid reason forcing us to transmit confidential data would be from a court order, a legal requisition or a warrant, asking us to send the elements we possess.

Children under 17 year

YAX understands the importance of protecting the privacy of children, especially in an online environment. This service was not designed or intended for person less than 17 years, and it will not intentionally collect and store data from users under 17 years of age.

Security

YAX complies with the standards of safety to protect your personal data from loss, alteration or destruction. Your data is stored behind proxy and transactions between your devices and our servers are secured with SSL. Only authorized staff has access to data automatically collected, and staff is required to treat this information as sensitive and confidential. YAX data are stored on servers in France and are covered by the French law and a fortiori to the European law. In this respect the YAX files have been declared to the CNIL (Statement Number 1791867).
