Yad Yehuda of Greater Washington is a volunteer organization that serves as the Jewish community's financial safety net serving hundreds of individuals from every Jewish neighborhood in the Greater Washington area.

EMERGENCY RELIEF 

​When a crisis strikes and bills need to be ​paid, our resource assistance works to help ​stabilize financial burden and ​prevent greater loss.

CAPITAL KOSHER PANTRY

Through the Capital Kosher Pantry, we help hundreds of fellow community members, feed their families with ​pride and dignity.

​TOMCHEI SHABBOS

Tomchei Shabbos was designed to assist local families and individuals in financial distress purchase food for Shabbat and Yom Tov.

​​Misaskim of Greater Washington strives to assist during the challenging time after the death of a family member by supplying local shuls and communities with shiva supplies.

​CHESED SHEL EMES

​ChesedShelEmesAid provides assistance when a person or family does not have sufficient funds to pay for all the expenses to bury a loved one.

​NISMACH MARYLAND

Nismach is a support group that has become a lifeline to many Orthodox Jewish women who lost their husbands. Staffed completely by volunteer within the group.
