If you set email lock for packages, when user unlock packages using their emails, those email addresses can be found under Subscribers sub-menu.
Go to Downloads -> Subscriber of your WordPress admin panel. Details for every section under Subscriber menu is given below:
Emails
Here you can view the list of all email addresses and corresponding package names. You can delete any records here.
Email Template
Here you can specify email templates for your packages. When package download link is sent to the email address, this template will be used.
- Load Template: Here you can select default templates for select box for your template. Select any template from this select box and click “Load” button. Your selected template will be loaded.
- Subject: You can specify default Email subject here. Write email subject here
- Template: Here you can change content of your template. You can change images, re-size template width, change title, content or you can add new content here. If you want to change images, just double click any image. There are some variables you can user here:
- [ download_url] – for download url of your package.
- [ title] – for title of your download package
- From Mail: Here you can specify sender email address.
- From Name: Here you can specify sender name.
- Save Template: Click “Save Template” button to save your settings.
Export CSV
Click “Export CSV” tab to export all email addresses in CSV file format. Notice that, email addresses can have duplicate values.
Export Unique Emails
Click “Export Unique Emails” to export all unique email address in CSV file format.
Is it possible to use different e-mail templates when you have different packages?
No, it is not possible, however we have noted it and will see if some other users also want this 🙂

You may need any add-on from here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/downloads/email-add-ons/ depending on the email marketing platform you are using there

Just installed pro but the subscribers are not captured neither are the emails sent after several tests. Can you help? I need that function to work.

Did you enable email lock in Package settings?
Yes I did. When I click on link to download I do get the enter name and email pop up. I complete the form, send and get the message that a download link has been sent. I don’t get any email and nothing is logged at the subscriber list.

To allow download without registration, just sett ‘All Visitors’ in allow access field in package settings. When inserting shortcode ( Use TinyMCE addon) select the link template you want to use.
