Visitors are welcome, whether from Wellington or further afield, staying for a few days or a few years. We once had a Rabbi who came for three months and stayed for four years. True story!

If you’re intending to visit services, please check out the guide below that applies to you and let us know you’re coming at least a week beforehand. We’ll need your:

  • Full name

  • Address (back home and where you’re staying in New Zealand)

  • Email address

  • Phone contact number (while you’re in New Zealand)

  • Photo or scan of photo ID (which you’ll need to bring when visiting).

Guide to Jewish  visitors

We have compiled helpful information for Jewish visitors to Wellington seeking Shabbat friendly accommodation and activities as well as kosher meal options - all in the vicinity of the WJCC!

Guide to non-Jewish visitors

We welcome non-Jewish visitors to our synagogue – whether you have an interest in interfaith or finding out more about Judaism.

Synagogue services are very different to other faith services and this guide will help prepare you for what to expect.
