Government-Grade Security
Security controls are tailored to meet the unique needs of US federal government customers, including FedRAMP requirements.

Deliver Enterprise PaaS
Enterprise developers and cloud operators can build, manage and scale a new class of applications using modern frameworks that instantly bind to massive data sets.
Platform & Architecture
vCloud Government Service follows the same hybrid cloud architecture as VMware vCloud Air. Two service offers are available: Dedicated Cloud and Virtual Private Cloud. Both offers include built-in high availability, firewall capabilities, load balancing, NAT, DHCP, IPsec VPN and disk I/0 at no additional charge.
It incorporates many of VMware’s most advanced product and feature sets including:
- Network virtualization and security platform (VMware NSX)
- Storage and data migration (vSphere vMotion)
- vCloud Connector and vCloud Director
What Our Customers Are Saying
Having FedRAMP accreditation for that platform gives anyone in the government a level of assurance that the platform meets specific security controls and is monitored continuously per the requirements of the FedRAMP organization.
