One thing that just dominates other blender brands is the fact that you can put spinach in a smootie and it blends it so well that there are zero flakes of green. Also, it is much quieter than other thigh speed blenders. It does a fantastic job from smoothies, to hummus to cashew milk, even chopping raw veggies. This is such a great addition to my kitchen. Side note: I had a Ninja before this and loved it, but I was definitely ... ready for this upgrade!

That was such a hassle to clean and eliminated all the fiber. I saw the payment plan for the Vitamix advertised just before Christmas and couldn't pass up the no interest deal, so I finally ordered one. This thing is awesome and I use it everyday. I blend green drinks in the morning and have energy that last all day, no more afternoon walls! The thing cleans up so ... easy and quickly too.. I am very pleased with my Vitamix 5200 and recommend that if you have ever wanted one, don't wait any longer; get one!!

Best blender on the market!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Starbuck1 month agoMy son has a feeding disorder so he eats mostly puréed food. We got this blender to make smoother purées. I also make a protein shake for myself every morning. I can use whole ice cubes. I had a personal size blender and a full size blender that were from another company. This blender replaced both blenders. I make 20 ounce shakes for myself and I did not have to buy a smaller container. Clean up is fast- I rinse the container then run the clean cycle. I use the machine daily.

I took advantage of the extended payments with PayPal and it was a great decision. I use this everyday sometimes twice a day. I love the versatility and the accessories and cookbook that came with it. I made many smoothies as well as hummus and guacamole and that's just scratching the surface. This blender is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone serious about a serious kitchen tool.

Worth the hype

It is amazing, I now understand why people are always talking about thier vitamix blenders. I make a morning smoothie with grains and greens, and on the smoothie setting it is whipped up into creamy goodness. I have also made HOT soup in five minutes, no joke. Mayo, ice cream, cookies. You will not regret this purchase.

The pre-programmed buttons make it so easy to use. Clean-up is a breeze! I love that I can use so many different healthy raw foods to make great tasting meals. Not only have we used several of the Vitamix recipes, but we have also started creating our own! I'm having fun and eating better! Thank you Vitamix.
