Hiding Ads
Do you wish you can block inappropriate ads?
The good news is that you can block ads altogether quite easily. Adblockplus.org was founded blocks banners, pop-ups and video ads - even on Facebook and YouTube, and all you need to do is to install a simple plugin.
How to Hide Images
If you are using Chrome there is also a neat extension that can block all images on the web.
This extension hides the images by displaying a coloured texture where they would be. Small images, and many background patterns are recognized, and will always displayed.
Any individual image can be displayed simply by moving the mouse cursor over it and pressing ALT-a. (For multiple images, hold ALT-a down for a second and then swipe across the multiple images. Reportedly, this won't work in Win 8.) To re-hide it, press ALT-z.
