Those who say they are “ashamed to be Jewish” should take comfort in knowing that we, too, are ashamed they are Jewish.

I believe, without data, that a very large number of Americans who oppose the Trump administration nonetheless agree with this tweet. Ten years ago, this is exactly the kind of message that was missing when people took to the streets to oppose the Iranian regime.

Ali Abunimah has spent the days after a terror attack at a synagogue calling Jewish men and women racists and anti-Semites. Totally normal and acceptable behavior. Totally normal.

The Times knew for years about dozens of cases of UO child sex abuse mishandled by the Brooklyn DA but literally wouldn't cover them because publishing stories about blackhatted bearded perps hurting kids wouldn't sell papers. It took years of pressure to change that. 2/2

I am not the most observant Jewish woman. But this coming Friday, I will light Shabbat candles because that is what Lori Gilbert-Kaye, who was murdered yesterday at , would have done. Who is with me?

I can't help but think back a few weeks, when the Jewish community in North Carolina pled with UNC to cancel a Gaza conference. The conference went ahead as scheduled and included speakers/performers who praised anti-Semitism. Please, listen to us. Our lives depend upon it.

The more one thinks about that cartoon the worse it looks. For this specific reason: antisemitism is not like other forms of racialism; it's not a vulgar ethnic prejudice. It's a fully developed conspiracy theory. And the NYT played straight to it.

The anti Semitic cartoon published by the is a symptom of a deeper problem on the left. It’s acceptable to many on the left to employ anti Semitic tropes as long as they’re directed against Israel. Anti Zionism is becoming an acceptable cover for anti Semitism

Apology not accepted. How many editors looked at a cartoon that would not have looked out of place on a white supremacist website and thought it met the paper’s editorial standards? What does this say about your processes or your decision makers? How are you fixing it?
