I'm gearing up to launch the culmination of my work in Antarctica of filming the microscopic extremophile life under the ice there. Possibly as soon as next week, but not confirmed. Feeling nervous, excited, relieved. Support for this project welcome @

Great time attending my first meetup at this week as a newly minted National Geographic Explorer. Met archaeologists, biologists, teachers, and conservationists. Also ran into who's always scheming on new fun projects.

Okay, so I’m super impatient to show you this awesome project ...but is utterly overwhelming this week with all the awesome science news coming out. Going to let all that science shine this week and share my project in a few weeks time instead (but, gah! I’m impatient!)
