    Kosher isn’t only about the food, it should also be about treating the workers with ethical rigor. Thank you Rabbi Ruttenberg for elevating our Passover!

    So what if the chocolate you got for Passover wasn't made from the enslavement of others? Fair trade kosher for Passover chocolate here:

    Out of deep love for the state of Israel, we say clearly: Support for Israel must be bipartisan, and Israel must NOT be used as a wedge issue.

    Our on bipartisan support for Israel: "No political party has the sole claim on love for Israel – Democratic or Republican, Likud, or any of the myriad parties running in the April 9 Israeli election." Read more:

    Last night 3 Israeli couples were married at Washington Hebrew Congregation in DC. The ultra-orthodox religious monopoly prevents these couples from marrying legally in Israel. Sadly Israel is the only democracy that does not allow the freedom to marry. Love wins!❤️❤️❤️

    Even as we hope for a comprehensive peace - an end to the horrific violence in Syria as well as Iranian aggression - we, like Israeli leaders across the political spectrum, understand that control over the Golan Heights is vital to Israel’s security. (1/2)

    In an increasingly partisan Israel policy debate, this bill demonstrates the strong bi-partisan opposition to BDS and affirms that Democrats and Republicans may disagree about most things but both parties strongly support the State of Israel. We welcome HRes246.

    We welcome the new, bipartisan HRes246, opposing efforts to delegitimize Israel. BDS hinders, rather than advances, the peace process. It ignores complex realities and offers no reasonable path forward to resolve the conflict.

    We just lifted a toast in our office to celebrate ‘s 79th anniversary. Honored and proud every day to serve and lead this extraordinary group of dedicated individuals.

    We started out as a band of civil rights lawyers who had the courage and willingness to believe that they could “break the back of Jim Crow.” In 1940, this was a near impossible feat. Today, we celebrate 79 years of work to change the course of our democracy.

    I was blessed to know & love Rabbi Larry Raphael over the years of my rabbinate. He took a keen interest in each of us, sharing his insightful & generous Torah. His career spans our entire Movement, planting wisdom & menschlichkeit all along the way. His memory is a blessing.

    REFORM MOVEMENT WINS HUGE VICTORY—ISRAEL’S SUPREME COURT RULES AGAINST RACISM AND INCITEMENT- Rabbi Gilad Kariv argued brilliantly before Israel’s Supreme Court. The Court agreed today that racist ideology and incitement do not belong in the Knesset.
