    And the average age and median age and share of people 30+ on the roll was higher. Young people made up a smaller % of the roll than 2016 and will no doubt make up a smaller % of the voters at this election.

    I remember when news broke had record enrolment numbers, esp youth participation. Received wisdom was young people would come for govt w cricket bats re climate change, etc. I'd be interested to see age breakdowns across country & whether it was true.
