  4. A3: Many unrealistically believe that everyone else is happier/doing more things than they are at this time which isn't true

  6. thank you. Although hard sometimes, I try to make space to just feel the sadness/grief & then slowly make room 4 gratitude.

  11. For the holidays, I rest beforehand and take time away when I need to.

  12. no over doing with food , too much sugar etc late nights keeping routine as much as I can

  13. Really sorry to hear that Michelle and your mum sounds like she was a wonderful woman. Wishing u a festive season.

  14. for me the hardest part is missing my mum (she passed away 2 yrs ago). She always made xmas so much fun & stress free.

  16. Pets! My dog changed my life. Many animals waiting for adoption, so win-win! Not human contact but invaluable for MH!

  17. The expectations to be happy and excited and cheerful around Christmas puts emotional pressure on some, then causing anxiety/panic.
