Nevada Reporter Who Falsely Claimed Sanders Supporters Threw Chairs - Fired!
Nevada Reporter Who Falsely Claimed Sanders Supporters Threw Chairs Just Got What He Deserves Photo published for Convention Catastrophe, Part II; An Election 2016 Special Report - Let's Talk Nevada A veteran political reporter who spread a viral lie demeaning Bernie Sanders delegates at the Nevada convention is now looking for a new job. Read More at: http://www.pkcourse.com Jon Ralston, who has been called “The biggest fish in Nevada” by Politico, has been let go by PBS after the network cancelled his show “Ralston Live” on Tuesday. Ralston became nationally reviled after the Nevada Democratic Convention, in which he famously propagated the oft-repeated lie that Bernie Sanders’ delegates threw chairs in a fit of rage after state party chair Roberta Lange disqualified a large number of delegates from participating and refused to hear their appeals. While Ralston’s insistence of Sanders supporters throwing chairs was secondhand, as he left the convention early, the claim was still taken at face-value due to his status as a respected journalist in Nevada. Despite the lack of verifiable evidence, national news media ran with Ralston’s claims and printed numerous stories falsely claiming that Sanders supporters threw chairs, including trusted outlets like the Associated Press, the New York Times, and CBS.

“Did you know that there is a fracked gas pipeline currently under construction in Vermont?  It is a transmission line that will transport fracked gas along the western side of the state, with future hopes of connecting to the national grid.  One June 6th, protesters affiliated with Rising Tide Vermont stopped work on the pipeline for seven hours, locking themselves to construction equipment and blockading an access road.  This action was part of a relentless, multi-year campaign to stop the pipeline.

But how could this be happening in the land of Bernie?   Unfortunately, the Vermont Senator remained silent for three years after the pipeline was announced in 2012.  It wasn’t until this January, in the midst of his presidential campaign, that he made his position on the pipeline known.  Meanwhile, the permits have already been approved and pipe is being laid.

********MAJOR CALI UPDATE******* • /r/SandersForPresident
**********PLEASE SHARE!********** From Nomi in LA, California...(as reported via FB, no changes made, but not my post.)

We noticed that out of the first 4,000 provisional ballots pulled, 1,000 of them were snagged because they were cast as “Democratic” ballots instead of “NPP/crossover Democratic” ballots. If you are NPP and received a Democratic ballot, you fell under the umbrella too.

For the record, I have never even SEEN an “NPP/crossover Democratic” ballot. Throughout the whole campaign, we, and hundreds of thousands of others, apparently, assumed a Dem ballot and a crossover Dem ballot were the same thing. Anyway, my guess as to why so many miscast ballots rolled in was either due to a misinformed poll worker, or the voter insisted on getting a Democratic ballot thinking they would be safer that way.

After spending so many hours supervising ballots, the main reason I’ve trusted the efficiency of it is because of their unwavering commitment to honor the voter’s intent. So where did that go?

The concern of 25% of the provisional votes being tossed aside due to a formality was immediately reported on Sunday afternoon.

Yesterday, our little group banned together outside in heartache and frustration. Then something interesting happened. The chief executive took us into a little area down the hallway on the 5th floor, where we received the groundbreaking report:

“I have a bit of good news for you. I want you to know that we looked into it, and we agree that this issue falls under the category of voter intent. We want you to know that we have decided to count every Democratic ballot cast by an NPP voter.” -Aaron Nevarez, Chief Executive Assistant of the Los Angeles Voters Registrar

Now that 66,500 NPP voters’ Democratic ballots will be counted in Los Angeles as of around 1:00pm yesterday, this could mean the recovery of up to 580,000 uncounted votes in California. That’s an eighth of the votes of the state. We have 16 days to get the word out to Secretary of State Alex Padilla and every county in California, who need to follow LA’s lead and get those votes in.

CALIFORNIA, YOU ARE SO IMPORTANT! You vote June 7th!

There are 475 delegates at stake in California.

That’s a YUGE amount of delegates. Delegates that Bernie Sanders needs.

Welch, Leahy, Sanders join gun protest on House floor
Vermont's lone congressman and the state's two senators were among Democrats in a sit-in to demand vote on gun bill legislation.

Sanders, an independent who caucuses with the Democrats and campaigned for the party’s nomination for president, arrived in the House chamber at about 4:30 p.m. to much attention.

“Change only happens when people come together to say the status quo is unacceptable. We stand with you @HouseDemocrats. #NoBillNoBreak,” Sanders tweeted. “Proud to stand with my colleagues to demand action.”

Bernie Sanders' Superdelegate Strategy Is Gaining Support Among These Progressive Senators
Superdelegates have been one of several topics of heated debate roused by the 2016 Democratic primaries. Early on in the race, some of Sen. Bernie Sanders' supporters feared that superdelegates might help Hillary Clinton win the nomination over Sanders even if he got more of the popular vote during the primaries. Although Clinton won the majority of delegates tied to the popular vote in the end, Sanders still says he wants to eliminate superdelegates. And he may have enough support from Democratic officeholders to make that happen, or at least to reduce their number.
