The challenge was
Create an original t-shirt design inspired by Top Gun.
Do you feel the need . . . the need for speed?
The back-and-forth sparring of two alpha males trying to nab the spot of top dog is well documented in Hollywood. But when that dogfight is transferred tens of thousands of feet into the air in Top Gun, the results become legendary.
Maverick has two goals: shut out Iceman to become numero uno of Top Gun school, and win over the icy, no-nonsense female flight instructor who initially throws him the cold shoulder. And if he gets to show off some of his badass flyboy moves along the way, all the better.
We want you to take to the skies (figuratively, of course) and use Top Gun as your inspiration to create the next great t-shirt design. Do you have the chops to score the top spot in this challenge, or is your ego writing checks your pen can’t cash?
NOTE: No actor names or likenesses or song lyrics can be used in your design. And make sure to read the legal stuff. Rules for this challenge are different from other Threadless challenges.
