Today we theorize what would happen if the B-52s wrote a song about an Iridium SatComm Module.
They will be coming in throughout the day. :)
We are working on a Simple Sketch on it right now for you!
We just checked out IATA Regulation book and we found Polymer = Ion (with Alloy = Metal). So yes, you are right the name of these products is weird and redundant. Currently, the title says “Ion Lithium Ion Battery” which is no bueno. It looks like this was an original name that was never changed or updated.
Thank you very much for pointing this out we’ll get this changed on all of our products.
The only things this kit doesn’t include are its own Raspberry Pi, keyboard, mouse, and speakers; you’ll need to supply those on your own.
Yup, as this is considered pi-top’s desktop computer you will need to supply your desired keyboard and mouse.
Yup, there is a V2 of the NoIR but we are not (currently) carrying it, unfortunately. :(
We can see about getting one up here on the page but for now (while no one is in the office) here is the twitter account Nick talks about in the video showing off some photos.
Don’t worry, we have no intention to stop carrying boards without headers. We understand that there are a lot of different header options available and we don’t want to take the ability to choose your own headers away.
We do offer these, but they are out of stock until around Oct. 11. They can be found in the Recommended Products as well!
Well, most of our breakouts support vastly different functions (some of which don’t correlate with each other). We are, however, currently working on our buying guides that support a given purpose of each type of board (accelerometer, motor driver, USB cables, etc). These should be ready by the holiday rush. :)
