Being a lesbian in the South, there aren't a lot of dating options for me as a teenager with no job and no car. So, what did I decide to do? I invite questioning girls to make out with me, or do whatever. It's resulted in a lot of angry boyfriends and a few mad dads, but I won't stop, it's too much fun! Anybody else having anything similar happen to them? There's gotta be a few other gurls in my position...

In my opinion, Beth is not a developed character. She has so much potential between her inherited alcoholism, her daddy (and mommy, probably.) issues, her marital problems, etc. Yet she gets neglected by the writers. Rick and Morty is often praised for their exploration of character, but I feel like Beth really got left behind. Even "The ABC's of Beth", one of her defining episodes, leaves me wanting more. But maybe that's intentional, I don't know, I just hope she doesn't keep getting ignored

What exactly do you want?

I'd like a better explanation to her past (like what exactly happened with her sentient switchblade, or something) and her not to be devalued because I see a lot of potential there. Then again, maybe I'm bellyaching over nothing and the writers will prove me wrong. Who knows ;p

I have to agree with all of this... Also, with the Bible imagery and Kanye's ego there's a good chance he's alluding to himself being god-like, but that's nothing new within Ye's discography. You talk about the end or death of his ego, but then he turns around and does the big boisterous thing he does on TLOP. I dunno, it could be thematic just within the album. Anyway, great analysis, really hammered home the key points.

Kanye IS an asshole, that's a big part of his brand and personality. But he's no fucking 6ix9ine, that guy's disgusting...

The obvious choice is Niggas in Paris, but some people say you can't call that a collab... (I do)

or maybe Morty dying

I'm almost positive that's already happened before anyway. I don't think most people seriously believe C-137 Morty is his original Morty. He seemed very unaffected when he and Morty had to move to another reality after they ruined C-137; the ease with which he did it made me think it wasn't his first rodeo. Or maybe even second or third.

I do kind of think C-137 is the original Morty because of C-137 Rick's difference from all the other Ricks: he cares about his grandkids, which leads me to believe he would try to keep his originals in tact. Then again, he did take that coupon for a new Morty, so what do I know.

I love bubbeline because it’s a relationship that looks like it existed before the show started, when the world was younger, and as Marcy grew more disassociated from the world, maybe even while she was hunting vampires or even after when the world was empty of both vampires and humans, and she had no simon and no purpose - and her relationship with bubblegum was a really playful fun one from her perspective, as you can see in varmints, where she used to bust bubs out of meetings to play. And since bubs memory of that is different, you can see that while bubs started out fresh from the mother gum as a beauty loving, interested in the world innocent, as soon as the fancy kingdom got big enough and her responsibilities weighed on her more, she became less available to Marcy.

Then we have that gap where Marcy dated that dick and travelled the world before returning to kick Finn and jake out of the treehouse. You can tell from the initial meetings of bubs and Marcy after that, things are tense, weird, unresolved. I would even guess they were pretty toxic toward one another toward the end. Bubs does like to be in people’s business and Marcy hates being bossed around.

And by that point in the story, Marcy is starting to re-learn attachment and empathy through her friendship with Finn and Jake, while Bubs is getting increasingly detached from the world, her power is growing and her experiments are getting less and less pure and more corrupted, like her goodness is becoming blurred.

And then over the last couple of seasons and especially in stakes, you can see that Marcy and Bubs, free of the massive burdens on them, and ready to set aside their history and let themselves be close again... it’s just beautiful.

And this is my favourite bubblegum bubbeline moment, but my favourite Marcy bubbeline moment is in Stakes, when she tells bubblegum that when she eventually dies as a mortal, it will be bubs who puts her in the ground.

that's my favorite bubblegum bubbline moment as well, but my favorite marceline bubbline moment is when they're doing batjacks and when bubblegum asks how she's feeling marceline says "not fear... so maybe, love?"
