Except they had to be “in character” doing it.

We're in an open office space so there's eyes everywhere and I try to be careful with what kind of personal errands I do.

that's unfortunate...hopefully you can squeeze in some Reddit time here and there.

So you could actually go to Cooper's or Cujino's to have lunch?

Not sure, but there is actually a "Poor Richard's Pub"! Maybe some Scranton folks will chime in :)

Original Poster74 points·4 days ago

Unfortunately, there isn't actually a Chili's, Michael Scott's favorite restaurant, in Scranton, but there is one in a neighboring town half an hour away.

Is Post Malone related to Kevin Malone?

Am I the only one who never found Angela attractive while it was on the air, but has realized how fine the actress herself actually is?

Yes I find personality contributes to how physical attractiveness is perceived. Basically her brilliant acting made me not notice her beauty. Underrated actress for sure A+

Mary Poppins became the biggest box-office draw in Disney history. Andrews won the 1964 Academy Award for Best Actress and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for her performance. She and her co-stars also won the 1965 Grammy Award for Best Album for Children. As a measure of "sweet revenge," as Poppins songwriter Richard M. Sherman put it, Andrews closed her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes by saying, "And, finally, my thanks to a man who made a wonderful movie and who made all this possible in the first place, Mr. Jack Warner." My Fair Lady was in direct competition for the awards.

"And, finally, my thanks to a man who made a wonderful movie and who made all this possible in the first place, Mr. Jack Warner." My Fair Lady was in direct competition for the awards.

The reason this is relevant, is that Julie Andrews had originated the role of Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady on Broadway, but was passed over in favor of Audrey Hepburn for the movie.

Ironically she has won an Emmy, Grammy, and Oscar, but not a Tony.

After the team verified that the worms had memorized where to find food, they chopped off the worms’ heads and let them regrow, which took two weeks.

Then the team showed the worms with the regrown heads where to find food, essentially a refresher course of their light training before decapitation.

Subsequent experiments showed that the worms remembered where the light spot was, that it was safe, and that food could be found there. The worms’ memories were just as accurate as those worms who had never lost their heads.

It's Tinnitus...

White noise works but brown noise is more effective. I have an old iPhone constantly playing brown noise in my apartment, not only does it help my tinnitus it also washes out my noisy neighbors and street.

Coincidence- brown noise sounds like Enterprise engines from STNG. It’s that low background noise you hear in every scene on the ship.

Listen to it here

Edit: White, brown, pink, blue...noise is also helpful for those who suffer from r/misophonia

There are many white noise apps or YouTube videos that play these “color” sounds.

Give a listen, find the color that’s right for you, whether it’s to help with a hearing condition or just to help you relax, sleep, or drown out other unwanted noise distractions.

Like I said I have my brown noise playing nonstop, and it doesn’t have to be loud and yes it can be on while you watch tv without having to blast the volume at all.

Edit 2: just wanted to add something I’ve always found interesting about tinnitus, if you think about it, it’s the sound of the all the frequencies you can no longer hear. 😳

After his televised spat with James Corden where I'd say 90 percent of the public were on Sir Patrick's Stewards side even though he was drunk and being snide for good reason. You're not a snotty child take your hands out of your pockets. Anyhoo Corden could have gotten the same shit Malcom McDowell did for killing the kirk unit in Generations but Sir Pat put a stop to any shit like that and did that bedtime video podcast with Corden. He saved Cordens career, you never tell someone of his caliber to shut up and just get on with it you're dying on stage. 2 years later he did Hamlet with David Tennant for the BBC. Master class is an understatement.

Met him once, life highlight

Edit: He attended a fairly major theatrical production I was working, then he stayed afterwards and talked to the cast and crew for a long time. Such a kind and brilliant man
