It’s self-immolation. He most likely poured gasoline onto himself and lit himself on fire. Stop, drop and roll doesn’t work well when you’re covered in gasoline

Apparently, from what I’ve gathered, a couple of journalists convinced him to pour flammable liquid over himself and to lit himself on fire to “attract national media attention". They said they would immediately put him out, but as you can see from the video, they obviously didn’t. So I guess that’s why it was an “accidental self-immolation”

It was about a suicidal 18 year old who shot himself in the head with a shotgun on Facebook Live. The original video had the Mom come in and called the police, which revealed their location, so the mods had to remove it. However, there was a gif version of it which they decided to keep since it had no sound and it only showed the suicide (which was also removed once the mods were contacted by the admins). But for whatever ridiculous reason, the media still covered it as something huge and controversial, which led to this whole thing about removing the subreddit
