Close second to my FJ-4B VMF232.
The Narwhal is so satisfying though, especially when you get a splash on a Bearcat or set Centurion engine decks on fire repeatedly.
Same here. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a DDR variant in the German tree though tbh.
Considering a German Mi-24 is incoming, I think we can count on a T-72 coming too.
I agree, and what's annoyed me the most is how they've handled feedback after the changes.
I don't think the compromise is that great; you're still stuck with a tank that's not that fun to drive out after researching it. They've locked the other massive thread because of these changes, as if they were automatically sufficient, and now have a thread that requires moderator approval for posts.
Needless to say my mildly negative remarks, quoted below, have not been posted and no moderator will answer me why. I assume that's because I've simply mentioned relying on frustration for revenue.
I don't understand the compromise.
Why not take this opportunity to remove a genuinely frustrating mechanic? This doesn't remove the chance of being stuck in a ditch somewhere with no engine/transmission and we're still going to have the 'amazing' experience of sitting there burning to death in a new vehicle because we didn't spend money.
It's a positive sure, a step in the right direction, but the compromise really is testament to how much Gaijin rely on frustrating the playerbase into spending money.
Either that or it's because Pacifica has a personal issue with me for pointing out how many ground matches he's played.
I've been on holiday a week - gotta say from the sidelines it looks like Gaijin did give in a little bit (I'm seeing people post 20k+ RP post-match screens)... but that bonus was given disproportionately to players with already spaded vehicles who perform excellently anyhow, rather than to players who are given a gimped, parts/FPEless tank upon unlocking it.
Bit disappointed.
I have both and can safely say I prefer the T-34 747(r). It is faster and punches harder than the Churchill, and is frankly more survivable as it's smaller, doesn't attract as much attention, and is quite well armored.
5 cm per second
... I found 5cm per second incredibly boring.
Ehhhhh I'm not sure. One one hand Gaijin has made some very very heavy handed PR decisions in the past, but a part of me thinks that most successful games thrive because they can foster communities like this- no corporate moderation, just players who want to talk to each other in an open environment (which serves to attract more players to the game). I think that Gaijin recognizes that the subreddit is a net-gain for them (they don't have to worry about managing it, over 60,000 users continue to churn out content that boosts their game's popularity, and angry players don't vent on their forums). Gaijibbles probably communicates heavily with the moderator team though, I wonder if they have demanded things from them in the past and how that's played out.
Gaijin's crew hasn't ever demanded anything from us. All in all it's a rather easy relationship that's had tougher spots when we appear impartial and it begets a complaint from their end.
Anton was quite lax about the sub himself - he checks it from time to time and sees it as both a source of some irritation (for instance, when people theorized that the April Fools events were testing for Tier 6 tanks, that Gaijin is biased towards Soviets because of Russian community etc) but also as a positive, as a release valve for the community and a place for people to talk freely about the game.
I've done this in T-62s multiple times, it's always fun. Specifically keep an uncamouflaged and bush-free setup open for it too :)
Nog een Belg!
It very much depends on the sector that you work in, I think. I'm in IT, and a lot of my colleagues never really looked for a job, including me. I just had a decent LinkedIn profile, got an offer, went for an interview, and really hit it off with my now-boss.
In other sectors you might have to send as many applications as OP did.
Derde Belg hier!
Also depends on location. I live in Amsterdam now where tech companies are hiring salespeople like crazy at very competitive salaries, whereas my previous search while living in The Hague had more limited options.
Haven't had to apply much at all since graduating - current job came thanks to a diligent headhunter even.
Finding internships during my studies was a whole other ballgame though. I recall sending out nearly 100 applications for that, ended up with a great one in Ireland at the time.
Another map that looks pretty* but is at least three times too small. I would have loved playing around more of the arid plateaus in tanks.
*pretty but also quite lazy... I understand you can't get licensing for more authentic advertising for, say, Coca Cola, but "large text in Comic Sans" does not make for immersive billboards/posters/advertising props. Just a little more effort in the graphic design of the props would have gone a long way.
Yall would probably enjoy r/JapanPics

Hey, don't look at me. We're kerbing people posting hardly related material and excusing it by explaining only once people question.
Check our rules, they're quite clear on what is needed as context for Gaijin Pls posts.
Must be clearly explained: include the vehicle name in the title or in the comments. This was met.
Must be flaired with the GAIJIN PLEASE flair. Also met.
Must be relevant to War Thunder in terms of time frame and purpose. Met once more.
How is this hardly related content?

No - you linked a vehicle that is outside of the purpose of any vehicle currently ingame in Ground Battles (in Air Battles it is already in game in the Air mode as Artillery piece so it doesn't fit as a Gaijin pls post if considered as such).
Look, the crux of it is that you put up a picture of a PaK 40 with a Gaijin pls tag and no further explanation. We're still ironing out the rule but we're tired of minimal effort shots of vehicles that have no top-level or title explanation of why they are fitting to WT. People have asked us to kerb minimum effort posts, we're trying to deal with them.

Grinding USA is pretty hard after the Jumbos and before top tier. I would not recommend it. Your best option is to buy an XM-1 and get backups for it, in all honesty.
Reposts dude, this was posted 45 min ago. They are literally just above eachother in my feed.
Yep, removed for this reason.
I've observed it's usually upside down in the Netherlands - that is, the poor part is in the north. Not sure why.
From which cities did you observe that? I can't think of any with a poor North.
Amsterdam is one
Southwest and Southeast are poorer than the rapidly gentrifying North there though.
I gotta admit CAS in the FJ-4B VMF 232 is really, really fun. Nothing quite as satisfying as killing a Gepard from 2 miles out while dodging his tracers.
That being said I wholeheartedly endorse the addition of similar aircraft to other nation's tech trees so we can get some balance at top tier.
I would love to see line-of-sight guided missiles added to more nations to equalize things. Only issue is that the FJ-4B seems to be the closest in performance to the current set of aircraft. Adding the missiles to other nations would mean also introducing faster aircraft as those carried them into battle.
Why did you post the same meme twice? 🤔
We removed it previously because it was posted on a non-meme day.
