Yeah ok that's a little fucked up annie, you just spent the entire episode giving everyone shit for getting results by playing dirty, and she plays dirty to the get the papers from Jeff.
Basically the episode ends with everyone changing the add because Annie is a child and walks out after throwing another childish tantrum so they can make her feel better.
So everyone is allowed to grow and learn and develop and Annie is just always right because she gets emotional.
She really Britta's that episode for me
Umm are the mods like pussies or?
Just wrapped up one of my favorite holiday traditions — watching the Community Christmas episodes. They are truly timeless and also absolutely capture the essence of each season. And much like S2 versus S3, while Abed’s Uncontrollable Christmas has the most depth and heart, Regional Holiday Music makes me absolutely burst out loud laughing each time.
I feel semi-distraught. On one hand, I felt like the show ended with the same meta feeling that made the show in part so loveable. But I think the Annie-Jeff part is fucking me up more than it should. Maybe I'm too young to understand loving somebody but not being with them (I'm 20), but as somebody who was rooting for the two despite their age difference, I feel so confused and upset. Why /didn't/ they get together? What did Jeff mean by saying he "let her go"; did he mean that he never shot his shot? What did Annie mean when she said she'd regret the kiss "for a week"? But if Jeff never understood or took in count what Annie wanted in her life, did he actually love her???
I feel like I'm going insane. And am I the only one who thought that Annie and Abed's departure seemed rushed?? Like we had JUST found out about it that last episode, wouldn't it have made sense if they introduced the possibility of that internship or that job the episode before? Or was those things introduced in the last episode in order to set the stage for Jeff's conflict with change? And I didn't like how Jeff's "seventh season" looked like with all those women, it almost seemed like he didn't change and it kind of ruined the sentiment for me.
I don't know. I obviously have a lot of thoughts and feelings about this last episode, but the show will live on as one of my top favorite shows of all time.
