Massimo Vincent Pellegrino topped a 363-strong field in Saint Vincent to collect €65,000 in prize money and his first IPT title. The Italian defeated eventual runner-up Gianni Paolo Bussolino, after dispatching Dario Nittolo in third place, to secure the win. All three players had earlier agreed to a deal which guaranteed each at least €48,000 in prize money, leaving €17,000 still to play for. After an hour-long heads-up battle with Bussolino, that extra cash and the accompanying IPT trophy would belong Pellegrino.

Three-time PokerStars Supernova Elite, Alessandro ‘aletilter’ De Fenza, added €105,600 to his bankroll after defeating a talent-rich field at IPT Sanremo. De Fenza overcame this season’s IPT Saint Vincent runner-up, Marcello Miniucchi, heads-up for the win, after seeing off the challenge of 607 hopefuls on the Riviera.

Serbia’s Marko Mikovic turned his €700 IPT entry fee into €89,000 in Nova Gorica, overcoming a 710-strong field to earn his biggest ever career win.  The 32-year-old, who plays under the UserID ‘matori0406’ on PokerStars, beat Italy’s Niccolo Ceccarelli heads-up en route to victory. In the final hand, Mikovic’s ace jack spiked an ace on the flop to crush Ceccarelli’s pocket jacks.
