The OWU Connection

The OWU Connection is voracious learning and passionate teaching. It’s personal attention, global understanding, and real-world experience. It’s our comprehensive program with three core promises: You will Think Big. You will Go Global. You will Get Real.

The OWU Connection is our commitment to help you find your passion and build your pathway to meaningful work and a rewarding life.

Learn More

Explore OWU

During FALL PREVIEW DAY on November 11, you'll tour campus and attend academic breakout sessions customized to your interests.

Think Big

With The OWU Connection, combine the arts, sciences, and humanities to explore complex, real-world challenges.

Go Global

Expand your learning by immersing yourself in another culture. And check out our innovative Global Scholars Program.

Get Real

Take what you learn in the classroom and put it to work in real-world settings.

Feed Your Mind

Our professors are Fulbright, Mellon, and Guggenheim award winners. Top researchers. Authors, artists, and scholars. First and foremost, they're teachers and mentors.

Find your future

Fully 94% of 2015 graduates report being employed or in graduate school within months of graduation. The OWU Connection helps you develop the skills employers crave.

Chew Up the Competition

Since the year 2000, OWU varsity teams have won 71 conference championships, and 151 student-athletes have been named All-American.

Celebrate Friendship

Our Day on the JAY celebration brings out the whole campus for a street fair.

Have a Ball

Three out of four OWU students play varsity, club, or intramural sports

Be an Entrepreneur

Forbes ranks OWU as the #1 "Most Entrepreneurial" college in Ohio and #17 in America.

Make a Difference

Every year, OWU students perform more than 40,000 hours of community service

Dig into Seconds

More than one-fourth of OWU students graduate with more than one major. We help you connect almost any disciplines to create your pathway.

From Our Perspective

We are active and engaged with the world. We have thoughtful opinions, big ideas, and we share them in a rich campus conversation.
