The Northwell Health Eye Institute is a select network of Northwell physicians and private providers. We have more than 90 subspecialty ophthalmologists across over 45 locations throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Our renowned physicians are dedicated to combining their expertise—working together to enhance every patient’s treatment plan for the best experience and outcome. With active and ongoing clinical trials, we are advancing the practice of innovative research, continuous quality improvement, care coordination and provider and patient education.

Our board-certified and fully licensed physicians excel in a wide range of specialties, including cornea, cataract, retina, pediatric and oculoplastic services—so we can care for every patient’s unique needs. The Eye Institute’s care network includes major academic centers at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, North Shore University Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center and various outpatient locations.

In conjunction with the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, we provide our patients with access to clinical trials, putting us on the forefront of innovation. Through collaboration with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and our residency and fellowship programs, we train and develop future clinicians and scientists.
