JEWISH TOUR OF THE BALTIC STATES
Speaker: Daniel Gurevich
Join This Online Jewish Tour of the Baltic States to Learn About Their History, Our Upcoming June 2025 Trip, and Meet the Organizers!
Embark on this virtual journey through the history of Jewish communities in the Baltic States—stories of success, tragedy, and revival. In the first half of the talk, we’ll explore key sites in Vilnius and Kaunas (Kovno) in Lithuania, Riga in Latvia, and Tallinn in Estonia. The second half will focus on the Jewish History Tours: Baltics 2025, scheduled for June 5–15, 2025. Daniel Gurevich, our partner from "Jerulita Travel," will walk us through the highlights of the planned itinerary. Patricia Mizrahi, Program Manager of "Nora Kaplan Learn-in-Trips," will then discuss the hotels, meals, and other logistics for this unique travel experience.
REVIEWS FROM OUR PARTICIPANTS
"We absolutely loved our experience in Spain. We visited incredible sites, ate delicious food, learnt a ton about Jewish history and its impact on Spain and made wonderful new friends. Definitely a trip to add to your bucket list." |
"What an adventure this was! Moises Hassan and his team of excellent local tour guides brought the history and artifacts of Jewish Spain to life. Celebrating Shabbat and Havdalah together with our tour group was a lovely experience. The hotels were excellent and the food, the wine and the Flamenco show were fabulous. This really was the trip of a lifetime!" |
