NiceVision FAST Alpha Silver is an advanced, Internet Protocol (IP)-based MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 video and audio recording portfolio. It provides superior video quality and a sophisticated user friendly interface. Ideal for both distributed and centralized IP-based sites, the FAST portfolio provides the flexibility to match open architecture environments.
  
The NiceVision FAST Alpha Silver portfolio brings flexible, scalable video and audio recording to your IP video surveillance system. The system uses several high volume RAID storage disks to enable continuous recording for several months and supports unicast and multicast video streams. In addition, you can easily customize its performance by upgrading each channel to your desired video and audio quality and recording speed.
 
Included in the NiceVision FAST portfolio is the compact digital video server (DVS 3200/6400), which uses alpha technology encoders and codecs, available in 32- and 64-channel models. The network video recorder (NVR 3000) offers an open platform with extensive management capabilities that support large-scale system architectures. High reliability is provided by full redundancy mechanisms. For maximum flexibility and efficiency, external RAID storage devices can be added and third-party systems can be easily integrated using the powerful integration capabilities based on the software development kit and system macros.

 

IP Video Encoders/Codecs

The network video encoder (NVE 1008) manages eight simultaneous, non-multiplexed MPEG-4 and H.264 video streams with low latency. Superior video quality with 4CIF real-time streams, audio support and its patent-pending “Zero Points of Failure” redundancy makes this device unique in its class. 

 
Similar to the NVE 1008, the ENC 8M2 eight-channel MPEG-2 encoder offers unmatched flexibility with the option to individually upgrade video quality, resolution and audio for each channel. The unit is capable of encoding/decoding at variable bit-rates supporting the most effective techniques available for maintaining high video quality and provides interfaces to in-house and numerous third-party IP cameras and encoders.
  
The NiceVision FAST Alpha Silver portfolio seamlessly manages all video cameras with any mix of eight-channel encoders and single-channel encoders. Connect them directly to your digital video system or via the network in a configuration that works best for your layout and requirements.
